Did you see an offer for a $750 Shein gift card, and want to know if it’s actually legitimate?
After all, $750 is a lot of money, especially on a store that’s known for its low prices like Shein.
But is this offer legitimate, or a complete waste of time? I don’t say this often, but the answer might surprise you!
Is The $750 Shein Gift Card Offer Real, Or A Scam?
Believe it or not, the offer by Flash Rewards for a $750 Shein gift card does appear to be legitimate.
If you do everything it asks of you and complete all of the offers it requires, the company should actually issue the gift card out to you when all of it is done – and other people who claim to have gone through the entire thing have stated that they’ve been paid out.
Here’s the problem.
The system is designed to make sure that almost nobody actually makes it far enough through to actually get the reward at the end.
Due to the way this system is structured, 99%+ of people will never make it through to actually get the payout. There are simply too many steps, and it takes too much time.
Let’s look at how this whole scheme works from beginning to end – so you can decide whether or not its even worth pursuing.
How These Gift Card Websites Operate
Websites like Flash Rewards have been around since the internet was first in its infancy, and the way these sites work hasn’t changed much in the last 20 years.
Generally speaking, they all operate like this:
The website promises a fancy reward – such as a new smartphone, an iPad, or in this case, a large gift card. In order to actually receive the reward, you must complete a certain number of ‘offers’ for it to be eligible.
These start out simple enough. The first one could be a simple survey that only takes a few minutes to fill out. The first offer is completed, which builds confidence that you’ll be able to complete all of the others as well. This is designed to get you excited and confident with moving forward – while also increasing the time investment you’ve put into trying to get the prize.
The more time you’ve invested, the less likely you are to throw it all away by clicking that little X button and closing the window.
Over time, the offers get more and more bothersome. You may be required to give up personal information that will be sold to third-parties, such as your interests, your address, telephone number, etc. These will often be used for marketing purposes and spam.
Finally, you will need to sign up for offers that actually require money – such as paid trials to services. If you’ve already spent hours on the earlier offers and you feel like you’re close to getting the reward, it may be more tempting to pay for them – especially if the reward is greater than what you’re paying.
So, the Shein gift card isn’t actually free after all – you’ll need to spend money before you’re even eligible to receive it.
In reality though, most people give up far before this point. Meanwhile, the company promising the $750 Shein gift card makes money from every single offer that you complete.
They can afford to promise and pay out the $750 Shein gift card, because almost nobody ever gets to that point.
So while it’s hard to say that it’s a scam, it is extremely deceptive at best – and probably not worth the time, effort and money it requires to get the gift card.
Note: Flash Rewards in particular may require proof that the offers have been completed, so be sure to screenshot and save all information that you can. Additionally, the website does not make this clear, but you may be required to submit a photo of your government ID to them in order to receive the Shein gift card after everything has been completed.
If You’re Patient Enough, Can You Actually Get It?
Now that we know how websites like Flash Rewards operate, let’s ask the important question.
Say that you didn’t mind spending hours and hours, or even spending money to sign up for trials and services. Is it actually possible to receive the $750 Shein gift card in the end?
This does appear to be the case, as some other people online have already claimed that they suffered through it, and did get paid in the end.
Note that we analyzed these people’s messages, profiles and online presence further to ensure that they didn’t have any incentive to post anything positive about the company. So, based on our analysis, it does seem that the messages are legit.
Still, online reviews of Flash Rewards claim that their customer service simply ignores you when you try to message them after completing all of the requirements.
Considering the deceptive practices that this company partakes in, this isn’t all that unsurprising.
So, if you decide to try winning the $750 gift card for Shein, keep in mind that you may ultimately waste your time – even if you do everything that you’re supposed to.
Try This Instead
Unfortunately, when it comes to online offers like this one, you can usually rely on the old saying ‘If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.’
Even if the offers were legitimate, the company has to make money somehow. If getting a $750 gift card for Shein was easy, it wouldn’t be sustainable.
Therefore, if your goal is to find something reliable that you can do from home, I would recommend focusing on starting a real online business instead – such as starting an Etsy store, YouTube channel, or website.
This blog that you’re reading now is an example of one.
Through this blog – and the ads you see if you’re not running an ad blocker, I’ve been able to create a full-time income for myself and my immediate family, without working on it for more than a few hours a day.
(And honestly, I could stop completely and still make the same amount. It just wouldn’t grow further.)
My fiancé no longer has to work, and we get to spend more time together than ever as we prepare to start a family. Honestly, starting this website was one of the best decisions of my life, and I couldn’t be happier.
But how does it work?
Essentially, the process is broken down into four steps.
Step One: Getting your website established. Picking your website’s topic, getting it online, and designing it. Thankfully, this is no longer very hard – starting a website today only takes a couple of hours, and thousands of pre-built themes allow you to design your site without having to know how to code.
Step Two: Creating content. Finding and writing about topics people actually care to read about. You probably found this article through Google or another search engine – I specifically structured it to show up in Google search results!
Step Three: Building traffic. Once you’ve got content, you need people to find and read it. Thankfully, there are dozens of different ways you can get traffic to your website today, so this isn’t that difficult anymore.
Step Four: Monetizing your website. Believe it or not, there’s a lot more ways a website can make money than just ads! This is where you actually start getting paid for your hard work.
I’ve put together a course that focuses on each one of these different steps in great detail, showing you step-by-step how you can build a profitable website just like this one – even if you aren’t very good with computers, or even have experience writing.
Although it too takes some time to get off the ground, this is something reliable and legitimate that can help fund your Shein purchases (and all of your other expenses) for years to come.
Technically, the $750 Shein gift card being offered is in fact legit.
However, the system is designed in such a way to ensure you never actually complete all the steps – at least not without a ton of time and money invested.
Therefore, we recommend focusing on something else if your goal is a shopping spree at Shein.
