Does Domino’s Take PayPal? (2023 Update)

Feeling like you could go for a warm Domino’s pizza right about now?

Domino’s has taken great steps in the last few years to make ordering pizza (and other meals) even more convenient for their customers. Part of that has been the acceptance of new payment methods.

So, you may be wondering – does Domino’s take PayPal, and if so, how do you pay with it?

In this article, we’ll cover everything that you need to know!

Does Domino’s Accept PayPal?

At this time, Domino’s only accepts PayPal for orders made online – either through their website, or through the Domino’s mobile app.

They do not accept PayPal if you pay at the register, unless you use one of the workarounds that I’ll be sharing in a moment.

That being said, paying for Domino’s online is quite easy.

Once you’ve got your desired order selected, head to the checkout page.

Regardless of whether you’re using the Domino’s app or you’re checking out on your computer, there will be an option to select your payment method.

Simply choose ‘Pay with PayPal’ and then click or tap on the big yellow ‘Pay with PayPal’ button that appears!

Note that you can also order online using PayPal even if you intend to pick up the pizza yourself at your local Domino’s location. Not only is this convenient, but it saves time at the register too!

How To Pay In-Person Using PayPal

Typically speaking, it’s easiest to simply order online and pick up your pizza in-person if that’s what you want to do.

However, there are a couple of other ways to pay with PayPal at one of Domino’s stores, should you want to.

The first is to use one of PayPal’s credit or debit cards, such as the PayPal Cash Card.

This acts just like a debit card, but can be used to pay with your PayPal balance. So, it is essentially the same thing as paying with PayPal online, except you also have a physical card to use for your purchases.

The second method is to purchase Domino’s gift cards online using PayPal through Domino’s website.

We recommend selecting the ‘E-gift Card’ option, as this can be instantly redeemed and used at any Domino’s location for purchases.

Benefits Of Paying For Domino’s With PayPal

Now that we know how to pay for Domino’s using PayPal both online and in-person, you may be wondering – why bother paying with PayPal at all?

It turns out, there are a couple of key benefits.

The first is convenience. This is particularly true if you’re paying online. PayPal remembers all of your card information, so you don’t have to enter it in each time that you want to make a purchase.

All you have to do is sign into your PayPal account, select your desired payment method, and you’re good to go.

The second benefit is buyer protection. If you order your pizza to be delivered for example and it never arrives, PayPal’s buyer protection should ensure that you get a refund for your purchase.

Of course, it’s usually a better idea to contact Domino’s beforehand, as they will almost always make things right. PayPal’s buyer protection should be seen as a last resort, to use just in case.

Can You Pay For Domino’s Pizza Using PayPal Credit?

Want to order from Domino’s, but don’t want to pay for it quite yet? Not a problem!

As long as you’re ordering online using PayPal, you can utilize PayPal Credit (formerly known as ‘Bill Me Later’) to make your purchase.

When checking out with PayPal, it will ask you which payment method on your PayPal account that you want to use to fund the purchase.

Simply select ‘PayPal Credit’, and you’ll be able to pay with it!

What Other Payment Methods Does Domino’s Accept?

Domino’s currently accepts a wide variety of payment methods, to make ordering as convenient as possible.

Some of the payment methods that Domino’s currently accepts include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Most major credit cards
  • Most major debit cards
  • Mastercard
  • Visa

  • American Express
  • Cash
  • Prepaid cards
  • Checks (in stores only, and not at all locations. Call your specific store to confirm.)

Note that Domino’s acts a franchise. This means that the exact policies may vary from store to store. If you are unsure if a payment method is accepted, call the store ahead of time to confirm.

However, if you order online through their mobile app or through their website, you will be able to pay via PayPal without any problems.
