Does Kohl’s Take PayPal?
Kohl’s does indeed take PayPal while shopping for products on their website, Kohls.com.
However, Kohl’s doesn’t accept PayPal within any of their retail stores, without using one of the workarounds that we’ll discuss in a moment.
To pay using PayPal online, simply select it as the payment method at checkout.
Their website would ask you how you’d like to pay, and give you options between a Kohl’s card, credit card, debit card or PayPal.
Simply select PayPal as pictured above, and you’ll be redirected to PayPal’s website for payment during the final changes of checkout. Then, once the payment has processed, you’ll be redirected back to Kohl’s for your order confirmation and final details.
Again, PayPal only works while shopping on Kohl’s website, or using the Kohl’s mobile app. You will not have the option to pay using PayPal in-store, unless you use one of the workarounds that I’m about to share with you.
Workaround: PayPal Cash Card, Or Gift Cards
If you want to use PayPal to shop at Kohl’s retail stores, unfortunately you must use a workaround.
The first, and most straightforward way to pay using PayPal is to use a PayPal Cash Card.
PayPal Cash Cards work like prepaid debit cards – you can load them up using your PayPal balance (or funds from another card), then do transactions just like you would with any other debit card.
Although you won’t get cash back or travel points like you would with some of the other major credit cards, it is still a nice option if you want to use your PayPal balance to shop locally.
The second option is to use a Kohl’s gift card, which you can purchase using PayPal.
Kohl’s e-gift cards are sold directly on their website, and can be immediately used to make purchases both online and in-store.
So, you could purchase the gift card while shopping in the store, and then use it to pay for your purchases at the register.
Although this is an extra step, it effectively lets you use PayPal for your Kohl’s purchases, even when shopping at one of their 1,000+ retail locations.
What Other Payment Methods Does Kohl’s Accept?
In addition to PayPal, Kohl’s also accepts a large number of other payment methods.
