How To See Liked Reels On Instagram (2023 Update)

Reels have become an incredibly popular format on Instagram, as Instagram has set out to compete with TikTok.

Of course, since you are able to view so many so quickly, it can be frustrating to find the ones that you’ve liked previously. Unlike TikTok, it is a little bit harder to find a list of all of the Reels that you’ve liked.

Fortunately however, once you know to look it doesn’t take very long, and Instagram even gives you some options to help you find specific videos you previously watched.

In this article, we’ll cover everything that you need to know!

How To See All Of Your Liked Reels

Posts You've Liked Instagram

To view all of the Reels that you’ve liked on Instagram, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Instagram app, and visit your profile.
  2. Tap on the icon with 3 horizontal lines, in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap on ‘Settings.’
  4. Tap on ‘Account.’
  5. Tap on ‘Posts You’ve Liked.’

You will be able to identify Reels, because they will have the Reel icon in the top-right corner of the post.

Depending on what version of Instagram you’re running, there’s a chance that the liked Reels may be in a different place. If you can’t find your Reels using the steps above, follow these instructions instead:

  1. Open Instagram and visit your profile.
  2. Tap on the icon with 3 horizontal lines, in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap on ‘Your Activity.’
  4. Tap on ‘Interactions.’
  5. Tap on ‘Likes.’

All of the Reels you’ve liked on Instagram (along with all of your other posts) should be visible in one of these two sections. Depending on the version of Instagram you’re running, you may also be able to sort your liked posts by date, helping you to narrow down the results.

Is There Anyway To Download All Of Your Liked Reels?

After finding the Reel you’re looking for, you may be wondering – is there a way to download the Reel to your phone’s camera roll, or save all of your Reels entirely?

Unfortunately, the downloading functionality isn’t built into the Instagram app like it is on TikTok for example. While there are still ways to save the videos, it does require a workaround.

The easiest way to save a single video is to use your phone’s built-in screen recording function. This will take a recording of your screen, so you can open up the Reel you want and capture it that way.

However, if you want just the pure video file without taking a screen recording, there are third-party apps that can do this for you, on both iPhone and Android.

Simply type ‘Instagram downloader’ into your phone’s app store to find a few examples. A few you might want to try out include InstDown and InSaver.

Is There Anyway To Unlike All Of Your Liked Reels Quickly?

If you feel that you’ve liked too many Instagram Reels (or somebody liked a bunch on your account without your permission), it’s understandable that you’d want to clear these out.

But is there any way to unlike them all at once?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. While you can unlike them quite quickly by hovering your hand over the like button and using the other hand to swipe, it still has to be done one-by-one.

Thankfully, you can get this down to about 2 seconds per Reel if you’re quick. This means it’s possible to unlike over 1,800 of them per hour if you are focused.

The only other option is to use a macro app, which can record your movements and repeat them automatically. Apps like these are only available on Android, and a few examples include:

  • E-Robot
  • AnkuLua
  • MacroDroid
  • Automate
  • QuickTouch

If you don’t have an Android phone that supports one of these apps, you can also use an Android emulator such as Bluestacks or Nox on your PC. Then, download the Instagram app onto the Android emulator.

Once you have Instagram working on the Android emulator, use a PC macro program to do the same thing – record yourself unliking a Reel and swiping, then repeating the process.

For more information, view the post we’ve written on unliking all TikToks by clicking here. The process is exactly the same, so it works for Instagram Reels as well.

Conclusion

Once you know where to look, it only takes a few moments to view all of your liked Reels on Instagram.

Of course, if there are particular Reels you want to show to someone or view again later, you can also take advantage of the ‘Save’ functionality built into Instagram as well.
