Hello, James great article. I am planning to create a blog for games but my idea is slightly different from what the other commenters are doing. My game is in the Android play store and I've been to the majority of blogs related to this particular game to learn more regarding the happenings within the game. I must tell you that these blogs are a joke. There is a chance that one of 20 that could be a bit more difficult to over the others. However, I wanted to find out whether you have any suggestions for this type or gaming-related blog. Thank you James I'm aware that this is an old post however I thought you could be able to help me.

Hey Nikita, apologies for my delay in getting back to you!

My most important advice would be not to be too restrictive as there’s only so far you can go with only one game. Apps especially tend to have a relatively short period of time in which they’re really popular so if you restrict your website to only one game, you could be in trouble in the future if you’re relying on it for income. That’s just my opinion anyway!

Hey, James great article. I to am looking to start a game blog but mine is a little different than what your other commentors are trying to do. I play a game on the Android play store and have gone to most of the blogs for this specific game to find out info about stuff happening in the game and I have to tell you these blogs suck. There might be one out of 20 that might take me a little time surpassing them. But just wanted to see if you had any tips for this kind of gaming blog. Hi Angelina, happy to hear that!

I’d start by looking at the brands you already know and like. Affiliate marketing is a lot easier when you already have an inherent understanding of the product and its unique features.

If you can’t find anything else, mass marketplace programs like Amazon can at least give you a starting point!
