You’re exactly right. In fact, in my book “The Young Entrepreneur’s Guide To Business, Finance, and Life” I pretty much start off by saying that the most important thing in life is happiness. Whatever makes someone happy is unique to the individual, but in the end that is the only thing that matters.

One thing is for certain though – people are happiest when they are free. Even if they love their job, having the freedom to leave is a nice luxury that unfortunately isn’t possible for so many people.

If anything, owning a profitable business gives you options. And those are something to be cherished.

Me and you have a very similar story! I decided entrepreneurship was the right path for me when I was in high school and to this day I still have family and friends that think it would be a better idea for me to go back to college and work a regular corporate job. No thanks…

I hope 10 years from now everyone I know realizes beyond a doubt that this was the right choice, as seems to have been the case for you. I am glad everything has worked out for you and your vision for the future turned out to be the right one.

Right, we all need money to live a normal lifestyle but it has to come from somewhere. We have the power to make it ourselves but most people rely on an employer to provide it for them. Unfortunately that comes at the expense of giving up a huge portion of your life. Not something too appealing to me personally, and probably not to you either.

It doesn’t have to be that way, but sadly most people don’t realize they have another choice.

That’s the thing, you’ve really got to create that freedom, because it’s so hard. It really is. And if you don’t truly want something and are willing to sacrafice anything, no rational person would continue doing something so challenging when the rewards aren’t immediately there.

Of course, we don’t hear about those people because they never go onto succeed. As you said, people who crave freedom and are able to push through the resistance and that’s what ultimately leads them towards success.

Everyone is searching happiness in his or her life. the definition of happiness may very from person to person for example one person can only be happy if he or she is able to earn lots of money and someone else may get happy even if he or she is earning less.

I think it is all about preference and choice people have in their lifestyle.

One of the ways to earn good money and at the same time have freedom is blogging and making on-line money.
